All were staying at one place for many days. The worst hit in all these situations were the small business street hawkers, who found it very difficult to even meet their daily needs. During that period, the central government announced the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana and in this scheme, small businessmen and street vendors got a big relief. Without any complicated process, just taking the Aadhaar card and the application on the portal to the bank and the first ten thousand rupees loan was given to these businessmen at a low interest rate.
