Shravanabal Seva State Pension Scheme

Eligible beneficiaries – State pension scheme is implemented for the purpose of providing monthly pension to the citizens of age 65 or above in the state.

Required Documents – * Age proof * Certificate of residence * Income certificate

Eligibility Conditions / Criteria – Residence of Maharashtra for at least 15 years, Age 65 years or above, Name of the family included in Rural / Urban BPL list or annual household income not exceeding Rs. 21000 / –

Details of work done under branch/department –

Financial Assistance – Destitute Men/women of the age 65 years or above whose names are included in Below Poverty Line List receive Rs. 200/- per month pension under Indira Gandhi Oldage Pension Scheme of Central Govt. In addition to the above, they receive Rs. 400/- per month from Shravan Bal State Pension Scheme. This is called Shravan Bal Seva State Pension Scheme Group A.Destitute Men/women of the age 65 years or above whose name is not included in Below Poverty Line and annual income less than Rs. 21000/- but need assistance get Rs. 600/- per month under Shravan Bal Seva State Pension Scheme. This is called Shravan Bal Seva State Pension Scheme Group B.
